  • You’re stepping into your young adult years and the landscape feels different.

You may be starting sixth form, have less structure and more freedom. Perhaps you’re having a year out, starting a university course or exploring work, in addition navigating friendships, relationships and financial matters

    • Questions come up like:  Who am I?  What will my future look like?

    • You can feel lonely and isolated. Moving to a new place of study without your friendship base can be challenging

    • You can feel anxious about the world of work, your career paths and employment

It’s no surprise this stage can feel overwhelming.

  • Research shows that the brain continues to develop in both structure and function until the mid-20s.
